As many of you know, Peter Reeves, a long standing member of SEKS and KKF was hospitalised after becoming seriously ill. It resulted in major surgery in which his colon was removed.

I have been in contact with Beverley his daughter, who informs me that he left hospital this Tuesday 30th June, and has been given the all clear. Just needs a few weeks rest

I have passed on the good wishes of KKF members.

Home away from home Joined: 2007/8/13 From: Margate Posts: 443	Re: Peter Reeves It was good to see Peter up and about at Teston on the Saturday and in recovery, although there was concern when he had to leave early due to a problem with the dressing and the wound left by his operation, with the possibi;ity of needing hospital attention. It would seem that it was not as bad as first thought at the time at Teston I have received a text to-day which says that Peter is progressing well but slowly. I have asked that the best wishes of the memwbers be passed on to him.

Janet and Barry said he had made gthe journey to Portsmouth for the Kite Festival, but was informed by his nursing team that he should drive ther and back in a day. We all wish Peter a speedy recovery to health and hope to see him flying out and about with Kent Kite Flyers in the future
