Re: Sunday 20th June
Ray, you need to take A228 past the Hop Farm at Paddock Wood, keep going for a few miles, then over the traffic lights at Pembury and the two roundabouts. You will then be on the main road into the town. When you reach the crossroads with traffic lights, turn left (signposted for the cricket ground). About 1/4 mile along you'll see cars parked on the left, which if you can find a space is the best place to park (no restirctions on Sundays), preferably as near to the far end as you can. The events field is on your left. If you can't find a space, take next left turning and park in the car park about 1/4 mile down the hill. There is a gate from there to the events field.

Aaaahhhh, the Devil's Kneading Trough....What a place..
Hope you enjoyed your visit?

There was only Ray and myself today at Dunorlan Park, but was a good flying session interspersed by the occasional tangle, escaping rok, cut down by me, so Ray says, (thankfully recovered) and a visit by a very low flying vintage aircraft which we managed to avoid by the wind dropping shortly beforehand...Still made us sweat and swear a bit though as one of Ray's kites continued to stay aloft...

Also had good contact with the public who were impressed by our little display...about six kites at a time..

We should fly at Dunorlan more often!!

very much, thanks .. what a lovely view
the sun came out just in time, and even though we were on the wrong side of the hill for the wind, we still got a couple of kites up
