Re: Sunday 7th Jan - sorry meant Feb Looks like we've still not made a decision. So I'm going to go to Detling and then I can throw myself off the hill

Re: Sunday 7th Jan - sorry meant Feb At the moment, I'm not sure I'll photograph anything from the air. Trying to resolve a couple of "issues"

Re: Sunday 7th Jan - sorry meant Feb Our first foray to Detling was interesting. Its the first time I can recall holding on to a bit of string that disappeared into the sky with no apparent means of support!
The kite that was at the end of it had just disappeared. Id did return on occasions just to spoil the illusion. The dog walkers must have been quite amuse by the small group of people standing on the top of the hill swathed in clouds flying kites. well done to the hardy few, (Gareth, Gerty, Barbara & Mike, not forgetting Bill who managed to find us in the gloom) who stuck it out although I think Gareth had the right idea and left just before the sleet started. Who said you have to be mad? looking back on it Im sure they are right! I did enjoy it though Mike |
