Sunday 7th Jan - Sorry meant Feb
Anything planned this sunday? Was there a decision made from the options discussed at Hythe?

Need to know

Need to fly

Well depending on the outcome at Twickenham (I've got a ticket tee hee) I'll either be elated or flat. Either way I'll be up for flying somewhere. Not bothered where, how about somewhere reasonably central to everyone. Somewhere around ashford/folkestone I would think?

Assume you are supporting the spot of land to the West?
Hope you have a good time...you lucky wotsit!!!##****Grrrrh
Am happy to fly wherever.....but the car could do with a change from the M20 at some point!???? Not least to avoid all the bloody great potholes.....and understand that we have some more snow coming next week...Well, it is Winter, I suppose....do we have any snow themed kites?
Have spoken to the bods at Singleton and they will be opening up at the end of the month.....Am going to speak to them re an advert on the website if that's ok wiv folks at the top?????
Am looking forward to more flying on Sunday as thoroughly enjoyed last week..although I am not fond of the Hythe site!

Would folks decide as soon as possible whre they would like to fly to-morrow so as I may send out e-mails/texts.

Gerty if regard to advert on website, we would be seeking a fee for it. We are alwyas seeking adverts/sponsors for the website to assist in the meeting the cost.

What about Victoria Park in Ashford, its not very big but there is more ground at the back of it, also an indoor Bowling Green with Cafe and loos attached.

We are happy to go wherever the majority decide. Had a good fly (and fish & Chip lunch) with Steve today at Hythe Green. Spoken to by a local elderly resident passing by on an electric scooter who was delighted as he could see the kites from his flat window. "Fly them nice and high", he said, "nice and high" and drove away with a big grin on his face.

Victoria Park has very little room....and am never sure just where to "park myself"....
If we are looking at Ashford (am trying to avoid the M20 big time as spend many hours during the week on this potholed nightmare).....what about Great Chart rec? There are a couple of decent pubs within 5 mins walk.....
Otherwise Detling or Camber call for me....
Looking forward to some drier weather soon so we can return to our old favourites....!!!
Sorry Gareth about your awful day...assuming you were supporting the land of the dragon?
Perhaps we could have a Welsh theme on a fly-in soon just to make you feel a little bit better? Just want to let you know that we do empathise...and that the club will support you no matter.....you can't help being Welsh after all....and we love the leek!!!!

No where to have a Leek in Great Chart
Its 10.15 and the sky is very grey with no wind here where I am.

Len.

Ps I, after a struggle have put some photos in the KKF Photo Album.
