Re: November 22nd Fly-in Tonbridge Park
i will hopefully be coming along, need to improve my axel's

anyway if anyone wishes to improve the 4 liner skills (revs) i could help in that way, i wouldnt say im the best, but have been taught by the best, i can hover in all directions and have done abit of team flying before so i would say i feel compitent in teaching a few basic skills,

if this is of intrest to the club please let me know.

Cheers Jamie

I think this is more intended for beginners than experts, but by all means come along and we'll help if possible. Probably what you really need is to attend Bryan Beazley's trick clinic at Dover festival next year. You'll have to form an orderly queue behind me though.

From the conversation I had with Bill last weekend, it looks like we are aiming to get there around about 11:30. This will give us a couple of hours before heading off for lunch at Jimmy's and back in the afternoon to finish off.

Hope to see you there, though we may be a bit windswept and damp depending on which version of the weather forecast you believe.

Re: November 22nd Fly-in Tonbridge Park
Hi guys...

Have visited the site today to take a client to the play area and the fields were extremely wet and slippery even before the rain tonight.

The river was at the top of the banks so any more rain will push the water up the slipways and onto the field.

So, welly boots and wet weather gear will be the order of the day I'm afraid.

Don't know if I will be joining you as Sir is unwell....

Best of luck!!!!!

More heavy overnight rain I'm afraid. And after a brief interlude this morning, it is now raining again.

I'd suggest we abandon our plans for today and plan to have our 2 liner session when the rain stops!

Thanks for posting Gareth

Phew! Just as well we thought to check here before we left. With picnic ready we were about to leave when I thought of checking. Picnic in the conservatory I think!

If you do decide to re-run ths session could we request that you dont choose next week as we will be unable to attend cos we have visitors and wouldnt be able to come.
