Hi Folks...

I am pleased to let you know that the St Giles Children and Families Project I work for was last night a winner at the Charity of the Year awards... Not bad considering that there are only 6 of us working on the project!!!

The reason I am telling you this is not to blow my trumpet..but to tell you that kite flying has played an enormous part in our success and will continue to do so...

I am running a small workshop on Monday at the Christchurch School which I know will have an amazing impact on the participants..who are all in some way "difficult" or needy in some way....

I often take families and individual children flying which they really enjoy and are soon relaxed and forgetting their troubles....
